FITNESTRECOVERY & PERFORMANCE HUB

FITNEST AT YOUR EVENT

Sports massage.
Ready at the finish.

A practical recovery station for cycling, running and team-sport events across the Western Cape.

Participation is arranged with the organiser. Rider bookings open only for confirmed events.

A SIMPLE RECOVERY MENU

One booking. Care that fits the rider.

01

Sports massage first

A focused 30-minute session for post-event comfort and muscle soreness. Treatment is adapted to how the rider feels and the therapist’s assessment.

02

The right tool, when suitable

Percussion is a tool the therapist may use during massage. Leg compression may be offered instead, with the rider’s agreement and subject to equipment and suitability. These fit within the session at the same price.

03

A named therapist and time

Riders choose an available appointment under their therapist’s name. Guests can book without a membership. Payment is required before treatment.

PRACTICAL EVENT EXPERIENCE

Built on time spent at the races.

Morne Jansen has worked at one edition each of Wines2Whales, Cape Epic and Gravelburn. That is his personal event-work experience; it does not imply a current partnership or approved FitNest presence at those events.

EVENT QUESTIONS

Before you book.

What does an event sports massage cost?

A 30-minute sports massage session costs R250 at confirmed FitNest events. A separate five-minute changeover protects the treatment time. Organiser arrangements, staffing and travel are quoted separately.

Do riders choose recovery tools when booking?

No. Riders book Sports Massage. The therapist may use percussion as part of the treatment. Leg compression may be offered instead when suitable, with the rider’s agreement and subject to equipment availability, within the booked session.

Can riders pay at the event?

Yes. Confirmed events offer online payment or a reserved pay-in-person appointment. Payment must be confirmed before treatment begins.

Is FitNest confirmed at Wines2Whales?

Event experience listed here is Morne Jansen’s previous work experience. FitNest participation at any future event requires organiser approval. Only approved events are opened for rider bookings.

Services support recovery and comfort; they do not guarantee improved performance or replace medical assessment. Acute injuries should be referred to the event medical team.
